Delinat

Delinat

Delinat AG is a Swiss mail order company specializing in the sale of European organic wines. The Delinat guidelines go far beyond the general requirements for organic farming and other organic guidelines (EU, Bio Suisse, Demeter). In addition to a ban on chemical-synthetic pesticides, the use of artificial fertilizers and genetic engineering, the Delinat guidelines are the first to require the promotion of biodiversity and severely restrict the use of copper and sulfur to combat diseases in vineyards. Wines that are produced according to the strict Delinat guidelines bear the Delinat snail seal of quality.
bio.inspecta organizes the inspections and certifications for Delinat worldwide. bio.inspecta also supports Delinat in the further development of guidelines.

Customer benefit

Delinat has been promoting research into organic viticulture since the beginning. The focus is on reducing the use of copper as a spray (against mildew), greening trials, increasing biodiversity and cultivation trials with fungus-resistant grape varieties (PIWI). New research findings are constantly incorporated into the Delinat guidelines. The WWF Switzerland and the Foundation for Consumer Protection have awarded the new Delinat guidelines the rating "highly recommended".
