ISCC

ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) is now the world's largest certification system for sustainability and greenhouse gas savings in the fields of biomass, sustainable agriculture, renewable energies and the circular economy. It is a globally recognized sustainability standard for certifying a wide range of raw materials and products such as biofuels, food, feed and industrial products. While the ISCC EU standard covers the energy sector with the legal requirements of the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and greenhouse gas accounting, ISCC PLUS aims at the circular economy and the possibility of certifying recycled products and bio-based materials. ISCC offers traceability along the entire value chain and the implementation of sustainability requirements at the individual interfaces.
